Dear Downhome; I was showing my Mother in law the July issue of Downhome because there was a possible answer to a mystery item we had previously submitted. On the opposite page was another mystery item submitted by Herbert Sooley that she recognized. The item she says, at least in smaller versions, was made to punch holes in leather. This was probably used for the same purpose for something larger. Also, as much as she cringes at the idea, it may have been used a medical instrument of some sort.   Submitted By: Cher Wickham
