Fragile yet vital and strong!
Feathers painted in gorgeous hues
The beat of your wings, your song!
Enchanting little creature,
Like a fairytale come true!
Hummingbird at my windowpane
How beautiful are you!
Your gossamer wings barely there
And yet so strong are they!
Holding you o'er the forest floor
As you go about your day!
Beguiling is your presence
You are whimsical and free!
The essence of nature’s majesty
