Dear Downhome, Just wanted to drop a note to say how much I enjoy your magazine. I am not from Newfoundland, I am actually a native BCer. My best friend of 36 years is from Gander and after all these years I feel as if I know Newfoundland. She made me an honorary “Newfie,” Screeched me in, kissed the cod, and I received an official pin of the Newfoundland flag!
