Homecoming
Here is a photo I took on our trip to Newfoundland August 2004. While I was born in St. John's, I haven't been back since my folks moved back to the States in 1955. (They are US citizens.) What an amazing trip this was for me! We took the ferry to Argentia, and right away had to find gas. We stopped up the road at a family-run station, and my husband went in to pay and came out with a rose, telling me, "Welcome home." We look forward to returning next year and many years to come.
