My wife and I had just returned from a vacation in Cuba. A few days later I had a dental appointment and knowing most of the staff quite well I said Hola! (O-la), the Cuban expression for hello. The new young dentist looked at me and asked how I knew her name, which turned out to be Dr. Ola. We had a great chuckle and she added that when she was very young and had vacationed in Cuba she thought that everyone was calling her by name!   Submitted By: Ed Power
