about 5 years ago this month i had picked up a load aluminum from kingston Ont for bakersfield and also stop in sactamento calif i had a snow storm most the way to calif so i was planning a few days in the sub in calif so i had my shorts and summer clothes in the truck also so i arrived in bakersfield it was 75 deg F when i got there that thursday i had planned to stay over there for the weekend but when i woke up in the morning i was greeted by the sight of about 1 ft of snow on the truck hood here i was planning a weekend in the sun and relaxation and not to be detered i put on my shorts and sneakers and a t shirt and walked into the trukstop and they all looked at me like i had 2 heads or something. the waitress asked me if i was cold i said no it is warm out here today then she asked where i was from and she laughed when i left the snow in canada to enjoy the sunshine of calif and i wake up to snow in southern calif to witch she told me this was the first time it snowed in bakersfield this much in 44 years   Submitted By: NULL
