Haystack Reunion I
The highly successful reunion of individuals connected with the community of Haystack in Placentia Bay is typical of nearly 100 such events within Newfoundland and Labrador this summer. Thousands and thousands of people returned to visit for the first time their native land or the native land of their families. 1997 was an exceptional summer for reunions. Haystack families got together continuously to talk over old times as they lived in tents and on boats and utilized larger tents for a variety of official and social events. Submitted By: NULL
