My community is Happy Adventure. It is located on the beautiful Eastport Peninsula.
Happy Adventure has a population of about 250 people, and the sign welcoming visitors to our community reads, "Welcome to Happy Adventure - Newfoundland's Most Peaceful Community."
My town's Fab 5 are:

1. The best place to eat is "Inn @ Happy Adventure" - "Chucky's Seafood and Wildgame Restaurant"

2. The best view is located from the look-out behind the houses on Harbourview Drive.

3. The local claim to fame is that Peter Easton (Pirate) is believed to have landed here on his ship The Happy Adventure between 1610-1612.

4. Our most popular event is the annual "PirateFest." A reenactment of peter Easton's landing here in town. PirateFest & Happy Adventure Day is filled with games, prizes, bbq, pancake breakfast for seniors/residents of our town, treasure hunt, a Pirate dance and more.

5. I think our trouting ponds are our community's best-kept secret.
