Early mornings in Heatherton, NL on the way to Fissell's beach to go lobster fishing. Pictured in this photo is my father and best friend Jamie Parsons in the spring of 2019. He was a loving father, loyal friend and devoted fisherman. He loved the ocean and shared that love and passion with me for the entire 19 years we had together. He was a true and well traveled Newfoundlander, always finding his way back home and to the ocean. He was a lobster and crab fisherman for the majority of his life and would always bring home star fish, sea shells and little tokens from his time out to sea just for me - I�m sure many other Newfie daughters can relate! I wanted to share this beautiful portrait that I captured of my father at 5:35am on June 7th 2019 as it�s a sight many of us daughters of fishermen can relate too.
