Hannah’s Poetry
My granddaughter, Hannah Lang, was born 10 years ago in New Zealand. Her mom, (my daughter), originally from St. John’s, re-located to Calgary from New Zealand in 2007 with Hannah and her older brother. She has made one trip to Newfoundland since her move to Canada and enjoyed it very much. In her spare time, Hannah love to write poetry. Enclosed, please find several examples of her poetry.

Grandma
Sweet, lovable
Caring, laughing, smiling
Pajamas, cookies, instruments, drums
Playing, cooking, joking
Musical, cool

A diamante poem written by Hannah Lang at age 10
Once upon a Time
The past may never last,
But the present is a blast
The future may never come,
But the way to it always fun.
The love of family is strong
So never doubt it ‘cause it's never wrong.
With friends by your side,
And family that has your back,
Just don’t look down,
‘cause it will lead to a frown.
As long as you’re loved, your life will be great…
Once upon a time…
