Hams in the Mist
My husband and I are both ham radio operators. It was Lighthouse Weekend and Hams throughout the world inhabit the lighthouses or camp out there and try to make as many contacts in as many countries as they can. We went to Cape Race since we were in Newfoundland on vacation at the time. What an adventure THAT was! Fogged in all weekend, but that didn't prevent us from contacting many countries. We even had a kitchen party one night! And it was my first taste of moose burgers and moose sausage. Mmmmmmm! Great stuff! If you'd like the whole story, visit my website -
