Guide Book<br /> <br /> Puffins and whales, icebergs and cliffs<br /> and quilts on clotheslines in the wind<br /> Capelin are rolling on the sand<br /> lighthouses, coves around each bend <br /> <br /> The guidebook shows all of these scenes<br /> with lost and found themes all around<br /> Alluring images for sure<br /> though all these things may not be found<br /> <br /> It's true we are a different place<br /> we say another world next door<br /> And for the present we're still real<br /> though not quite like in years before<br /> <br /> Now a different generation<br /> and when the older ones pass on<br /> Images left in a guide book<br /> is what remains, old ways long gone<br />   Submitted By: wayne taylor
