Grates Cove.jpg
"It was cold! But this is why we were in Newfoundland during winter 2002. We wanted to experience a winter in this wonderful province. Grates Cove really epitomized our experience. A wonderful sight spread out before us after traversing the lunar landscape off the highway. There, windswept, yet seemingly snuggled on the side of the hill, was this sleepy town. Even through the bracing winds and a brewing storm, the locals were walking and talking... such a friendly place....One lady told us that she too fell in love with the village 10 years earlier. She returned home to Ontario, packed her bags and bought a house here. If only Australia was closer! Leonie Mitchell Lennox Head Australia" Submitted By: NULL
