Love getting your Downhome. Here is a poem our grandkids gave their grandfather. I thought some kids would love to give a copy to their grandfather.

Grandfather

Your life has spanned many years,
Your memory is rich and deep,
Tell me again soft and low,
A story that I can keep,
Remember that child you were,
Small boy at your mother's knee,
Before our time together is ore
Remember again for me.
Tell me about your dreams,
About all the people you knew,
Was life hard yet sweet, the same as today
Did all your dreams come true.
Your life and mine are intertwined,
Like the roots of an ancient tree,
What you were and have become,
