Gram’s Thunder
Gram's Thunde When Grammy saw the lightning flash And heard the thunder boom She'd quickly dash beneath her bed To hide out in her room. She didn't understand you see The noise to her was scary Under her bed she'd say a prayer To Jesus and Holy Mary. My mother told me about this As she showed me Gram's photograph And though I truly felt for her It really made me laugh. Modern science explained to us What poor Gram could not abide Thunderstorms won't harm you If you just stay inside. Submitted By: Nancy Crossman
