Grace’s Poem
Dear Downhome:
Love your magazine - so much to learn, past and present. I spend a lot of time when my grandchildren visit telling them about Hr. Main where I grew up. Just last week I got a letter in the mail from my granddaughter Grace Callan, age eight. As I read it, tears came to my eyes. She had put together the poem enclosed. It was worth a million dollars. I have sent it to "Strapp's Heritage Bed & Breakfast" to be put on the wall.

I will swim across the sea
to Newfoundland I guarantee
I will see
whales and sharks that are set free
I will swim at the tide
with my friends that arrive.
I had so much fun
but now I'm done.
Grace Callan
