In Newfoundland every Fall
Moose hunting season is what the b’ys looks forward to most of all
They gets all prepared with all the stuff they’ll need
Salt fish and tea bags for a ‘boil up and a feed’
Favourite and scoped places of sightings they will hunt for sure
The miles of trekking through the woods to endure
The excitement of when they gets their moose was worth all the fuss
A beverage of choice to celebrate is a must
Cheers to “gettin’ our Moose b’ys” and here’s to next year
