Go out into the ocean to find a good spot
Don't let any other boats see where you're going, you better not
Drop your nets and hope for the best
Makin' sure you found the right place is put to the test
Goin' back and haulin' in your nets the next day
With a prayer to God and a blessing if you may
Your nets are full god love them for sure
It's the profession of a fisherman that you adore
