God Bless The People Who Work In The Tourism Industry
A big basket of fruit to those hearty People who work in
The Tourism Industry.
Be it the Drivers who pick us up at the Resort and take us to our
destination pointing out the sites along the way.Dropping us off
at a Rainforest and another guide taking us through the forest
showing us different types of plants and critters that live there.
Stopping for lunch with a homemade local Cuisine to die for.
All the planners and Marketing as Well.
I am reminded of all those great Newfoundland Videos that Tourism
puts out on our Beautiful Province and the creativity that goes into those ads.
From the Photography to the spoken Narratives.I sat next to a woman on a flight from St John’s to Toronto once. She told me that she worked in Tourism and was heading to Toronto to a Business meeting. She grew up in St Mary’s Bay and we even had some friends in common. Our driver yesterday told us.Once tourism Season starts. They work seven days a week.Good for him. That kind of commitment I could
not do anymore.
I just wanted to acknowledge the tourist people and say I see you and I am
grateful for the fine job you do.
See Ya!
