Gill You Remember?
April 26th, 2012
Dear Ron & Staff,
A picture of my husband, Lloyd Gill (on the far left), of the CLB in our home town of Trinity in the 60's. There was a teacher named David Harvey. He was from St. John's. He started the CLB for the boys and the GFS (Girls' Friendly Society) for the girls. He did a good job for us. He was a wonderful person and wanted the best for us all. I would like to know if he is still living in St. John's, or if anyone would have a picture to share of the two clubs.
We've retired after 42 years living in Ontario & enjoying it. We have three & six grandchildren. God has sure blessed us.
Thank you,
Betty Gill (nee Brown)
P.S. I would like to say hi to my dear friend, Major Dorothy Sharp in Ontario. She loved reading the Downhome books, which I give her every year for her birthday. She is from Ontario.
Thank you for a wonderful job printing a good magazine. Keep up the good work.
