First year my family and I moved to Toronto (1991) I applied for a job and got hired right on the spot. The Manager told me he would see me Monday morning. I asked what the hours were and he said 10 to 8. I said Ok see ya Monday at 10 o'clock (Thinking 10 in the morning until 8 at night).He laughed his head off and said no 7:50 am (10-8)He told his assistant we have another Newfie starting Monday set her up on payroll.
