I grew up in Lamaline and moved to Vancouver 35 years ago. Our family enjoys the Downhome, which keeps us up to date on what is going on in NFLD. I was fortunate enough to be chosen to play a part in the Olympic Opening Ceremonies 2010. Our cast members were in the Hymn to the North portraying Canada's multiculturism. Thought my friends in Newfoundland would be interested in a small town girl making history for her hometown.
