This is a photo of the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary, Traffic Division, taken in front of Fort Townshend in the early 1950s. Three of the five constables, with their "Harleys," were "Westenders" from St. John's. They are from right to left: Pat Dunne, Otto Byrne, Bill Costigan, fourth unknown, fifth unknown, and the sixth person is Capt. O'Grady, a physical training instructor of the Royal Newfoundland Regiment. Any comments, contact me, John Dunne.
