Fudge, Pierce – Triton
Pierce Fudge was born May 11, 1899 to James and Eliza (nee Newman) Fudge of Triton. At the age of 16 he enlisted as Seaman with the Royal Navy. He was made a member of the British Empire for his service. in 1941 he married Dorthy White of Triton and raise one daughter. After the war his political life included being a delegate for hte Newfoundland National Convention, he founded and became president of the Newfoundland Labourer's Union in 1938. He died on May 14, 1967 at Corner Brook, NF. Submitted By: Justine (nee Vincent) Thomas
