Fogo – Brimstone Head Steps
Submitted Thu, Dec 14, 2006 A picture of the first sign you see at the bottom steps that lead to Brimstone Head. Fogo received a grant of 8,000.00 from the Dept. of Innovative Trade & Rural Development and Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agencies to build the Wireless Relay Interpretation Centre. The Centre will be used to house artifacts and interpret the wireless telegraph era operating in Fogo from 1911-1933, plus other items of interest telling of the town's history. It offers a breathtaking view of Fogo Harbour, and on a clear night you can see all the way to Change Islands. Submitted By: NULL
