This is St. Nicholas Anglican church on Flat island. It was burned down some years after everone had resettled to the mainland. All that is on the island now is a few cabins and, of course, the cemetaries. I was born on Flat Island, Bonavista Bay, in 1936. Our family moved to Toronto in the late 1950s because my dad had found a job there. I have been back many times over the years and still call NFLD home.   Submitted By: NULL
