While out on our annual caplin hunt at Spout Cove Beach, Conception Bay, NL, our son Jacob was amazed by the caplin flicking around on the beach. It wasn't long afterwards that the relationship between Jacob and the caplin became something more. A friendship had been made, the intimidation gone, all in just one kiss!
