Those two stages have been a landmark on the beach in Winterton for a number of years. Last year they were given a facelift by the owners and restored beautifully, drawing much attention from the locals and tourists alike, especially during the food fishery. Onlookers dropped by to catch a glimpse of their past and relive old times, watching fish being landed, filleted, salted and dried.
