Tossing birdseed along the banks and water of Rushy Pond in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL. I was surprised to see how many would show up to feed. Among the visitors were black ducks, pigeons, herring gulls and tiny sparrows. Sensing no harm to them, they moved close to get every morsal of seed they could grab.
