Face the Fuzz – 1945
A picture of a St. John's Mounted policeman. His name is Cyrill Leaman. The picture was taken in 1945 from the steps of the house at 7 Liverpool Ave. looking north, by my mother Jean (Whalen) Noseworthy. Please look at the background. Under the horse's nose there is a road (I think it is now Westerland Rd.) We used to take that road past Dr. McPherson's farm (he used to raise Newfoundland Dogs) to a little swimming hole just before you get to Long Pond. Submitted By: NULL
