A Little Taste of Newfoundland in Ontario

I didn't have a video of a Screech-in ceremony, but I do have the next best thing to it; my son's (Dwayne) wedding pictures. To welcome his Ontario wife (Kelly) into a Newfie family, we screeched her in on her wedding day July 7, 2007, combining the wedding ceremony with the screech-in ceremony. What a riot we had! As you can see, the bride didn't like the rum or the fish. But she did seem to take a liking to the old sou'wester and the rubber boots. Submitted By: NULL
