Evasive Ermine
We have a nice spot here in Blind River, Ontario and grow lots of different things in our garden like peanuts, grapes and tomatillos. We also make maple syrup and I'm thinking of getting into beekeeping next summer. I've finally got the pictures sorted out on the computer so I'll start sending some and hopefully see one in the magazine every now and then. These pictures are from the bonfire night this year. We got home from work and I quickly put together a small Guy Fawkes effigy. While we had the fire going our dog kept staring at the woodpile so we checked it out and saw an ermine. We got the camera and tried to get a picture but it was so fast that every time we clicked the button it had disappeared. We had about 15 pictures of just the woodpile until we finally got one of it.
