Our family enjoys your magazine and we look forward each month to the newest issue. We always find a familiar face, name or photo of a familiar scene from back home.

In June '07 our son, Robbie Oram, took a trip to China to visit a friend. Enclosed is a picture of Robbie (right) and his buddy, Billy Kawaja (left). Behind them is the Great Wall of China, but between them is a magazine that connects us to home, no matter where we roam. Billy is from Corner Brook; he is the Executive Chef at the Canadian Embassy in Beijing, China. After Robbie's trip to Beijing, he received a job offer from a company Billy is also employed with. Robbie is now Executive Sous Chef at a great restaurant, "Cafe St. Laurent," and also works at the Embassy for the Ambassador for China and the many functions that are held there. Billy and Robbie's company was also successful and was awarded contracts to provide and serve meals for the Canadian Pavilion for the 2008 Summer Olympics to be held in Beijing. These young men will be very busy over the next several months, but are proud to be where they are doing what they love to do best!
