En Route to Burgeo
Gravel Pit Camping - Photo taken on the way to Burgeo Enjoyed the article in last month's Downhome on Burgeo, but it neglected to say we could (and we did) drive through fog the last 25 km there and back. We Walked up the 161 steps, enjoyed an excellent cod lunch, tried cod cheeks for the first time at Joy's. Can't wait to go back. Having just moved from Ontario last October to live in Stephenville Crossing, I find your magazine extremely useful. Do you know - is there a better time to travel to Burgeo so we can see more scenery and no fog, or is it unpredictable? We did see a young caribou on the highway. Submitted By: NULL
