"Last September, my 5-year-old granddaughter Caitlynn Keating visited her biological grandfather, my ex-husband. She calls him “Poppy.” Later, my husband, whom she calls “Grandpa” and I returned from a trip and when we saw her she said, “Grandma, did you used to be married to Poppy?” I said, “Yes.” She said, “And then you married Grandpa?” I said, “Yes.” She looked at both of us, very perplexed then said to me, “Did you go, eeny, meeney, miney, moe?” Needless to say, we still laugh over this.
