My dad's oldest brother, Edward Butt was born in 1898 in Mt. Moriah, Bay of Islands, NL. Mt. Moriah was at one time called Child's Point. He was wounded in 1916 and went to hospital in France. After this he went back in action in Vimy Ridge - April 14, 1917. At 9:00 in the morning he was killed by a German sniper. Dad was about 6 or 7 years old when the telegram came to grandmother that he had been killed. It was not until years later they found out his body was never found.   Submitted By: NULL
