this was taken at a spring concert in May at St. george's Elementary in Long Pond, NL. The grade 5 class did their version of Buddy Wasisname's song "The Pits." These four lades were ready to do some serious trouting. Props the class used included moose antlers, a huge cardboard car and camper and children dressed for the long holiday wknd in long rubbers, plaid coast and caps. Two students dressed as a "dog" and a "bear" in keeping with the song. frm l-r are Patrick Eason, Aaron Smith, Justin Dawe and Brandon Eason. Coincidentally Brandon is the newphew of downhome's outdoor columnist Derek Brace.
