Recently, my brother and I cleaned out Mom's attic and found some old issues of the "Downhomer".  The oldest I could find was in the '90's.  Mom enjoyed them then and is still reading the magazine today.  As a birthday gift my brother renews her (and mine) subscription every year, and we enjoy it to the fullest, can't wait to get to the puzzles and share our answers, she gets more than me. I moved from Newfoundland in the 80's, and this brings a part of home to me each month. Thanks for that, and the stories, recipes, puzzles etc.
