Downhomer at our favourite lake
We like to spend our summers exploring lakes on our Wave Runners. We are posed on Mameigweiss Lake near Ignace, ON in front of some pictographs. Above Karen's head, you can see a bear; above Keith's head you can see people dancing and the "lake spirit" who stirs the water up with his tail and creates a noise. We believe that this noise is called "mameigweiss" in Ojibway. (Not 100% sure on these facts!) We love this crystal clear lake so we wanted our picture with the Downhome Magazine. We enjoy each and every issue! Thank you. Keith and Karen Submitted By:
