Downhome in North Carolina
Dear Downhome: On our recent vacation at the Outer Banks in North Carolina, my wife Elizabeth is shown on the enclosed photos with our favourite magazine - the Downhome. Even though we have no family ties on the "Rock," we just love to read about the island and its people, enjoy Ern and Coal Bin, not to forget getting frustrated to find Corky. We visited Newfoundland and Labrador twice, have very fond memories of our visits, and would like to visit one more time, God willing. The Outer Banks area and also the Oregon coast remind us in some way of your island, since there are some people that fish for a living, and love their job and the sea as most of your people do. Please know that we enjoy the Downhome very much, and may God bless you and your staff. Submitted By: NULL
