Denise White At Titicaca
In March of this year, 2012, I travelled to Peru for 3 ½ weeks. I met a group of nine people from different countries and we travelled all over Peru.
One of my many highlights on the trip was a visit to Lake Titicaca (the highest navigable lake in the word) and the "Floating Islands." They are made completely of reeds and the locals still live on them. I'm pictured with one of the local women, where we got to spend some time with them. It was a great experience for me.
I never miss your magazine every month, and really enjoy seeing where the Downhome ends up.
