My husband gave me this poem about 30 years ago.

Dear Wife of Mine

Dear wife of mine, another year has quickly
fled away, and it's the anniversary of our
happy wedding day.

As years roll by, I love you more, and want
you by my side, you will always be as fair
to me as the day you were my bride.

If God sees fit, to spare our lives, until
we're old and gray, we will both sit down
together, on our golden wedding day.

I will take you gently in my arms, and press
your lips to mine, you will always be my
Darling, and my sweetheart for all times.

We will take life's many struggles, its laughter
and its tears, and share them both together, as
we journey through the years.

If there is any little quarrels, on me just lay
the blame, for you are my one and only, and
