Dandelions
Nobody likes me
I really wonder why
I wave at all the ladies
When they are passing by.
I grow among the green grass
and show my yellow head
All the people passing by
Just wish that I was dead.
I never harm a single soul
But they try to keep me down
I will pop up through the concrete
If a crack is to be found.
No one admires my beauty
I am a gorgeous flower
My colour is just brilliant
And I do enjoy a shower.
It brings out all my beauty
And makes my colour rich
You will find me on the sidewalks
And even in the ditch.
Some people cook & eat my stem
Then pull off my head
They put me in a boiling pot
That's what my mother said.
I try to show up everywhere
They stamp on me and say
I will pull your head off
You're no good anyway.
