My brother, Mike Dalton, who now resides in New York City, came home in August for a vacation with his wife, son & daughter-in-law and two granddaughters. He left when he was 18 years to work as an ironworker in New York City as did most of the young men in Conception Harbour/Avondale area. He especially enjoyed the Rec Cod Fishery.  He didn't catch much but it was a thrill to re-live his earlier days of catching fish.
