Recently my husband and I along with 12 other people travelled to Varadero, Cuba for a friend's wedding. We had an awesome trip. One of the couples, Carter and Leah, brought with them a Newfoundland flag, and every morning we would hang the flag either at the beach or pool and that would be our spot for the day. We affectionately termed it the "Newfoundland Embassy." This picture shows the embassy. The couple on top of the rock, Corey and Gizelle, holding the Downhome magazine are the couple that got married while we were there.
