My good friend Kevin Christopher was diagnosed with a with a rare case of Pulmonary Fibrosis that was cause by many years of working on a crab plant in St. Mary's Bay. This disease left Kevin on a list for a double lung transplant. Kevin who grew up in Mall Bay, and now lives in St. Mary's, all in the St. Mary's Bay area, came to Toronto 10 months ago to wait for his donor to be found. Finally on February 17 - 2018 Kevin got the call that his donor was found and he underwent a double lung transplant at 1 PM and the surgery ended at 10 PM. My wife, Lucille, and I subscribe to The Downhome Magazine and we keep all the old issues. We decided to bring some of the old issues of The Downhome Magazine down to Kevin to help him pass the time.
