Christmas Bear On Lourdes Beach.
In 2011 we visited the West Coast of Newfoundland to visit Family on The Port au Port Peninsula. While strolling along Lourdes Beach to the sound of crashing waves, we saw this cute Christmas Bear anchored by a stone atop this metal post. We have no idea why she was perched there. Perhaps she was a talisman meant to protect the fishermen from harm while they tossed about on the cold North Atlantic. In any case, she made for a great photo to remind us of our last vacation to the West Coast of Newfoundland. Submitted By: Greg Bolger
