Chapel’s Cove Rock Face
September 17, 1997
Taken in Chapel's Cove during my first visit there in 1983. I have since spent many hours and several rolls of film trying to recapture this first shot (unsuccessfully, I might add). I hadn't noticed the face in the rock until we returned to Labrador and I received the photos back from the developer. It is quite surprising to many local residents that this naturally occurring profile has existed for so many years and had not been discovered until I photographed it in 1983.
