Caution Tape
By Joseph W. Roberts Conception Bay South, NL Just down the street not far from me, I'd take you there for you to see, But I'm not allowed, it's not to be, I've always gone, it's there for free. Monkey bars, a teeter bar, Some swings, a slide and it's not that far, Even tunnels, and ropes to swing, You just go and play, such a simple thing. There's a CAUTION tape that's easily seen, Even a sign , it's red and green, NO PLAYING HERE, that's what is says, I can't go now, it's been days and days. I don't understand, I'm too small I guess, There's a bigger sign, one you can't miss, It says PLAYGROUND, my mommy said, I can spell VIRUS, and GREEN and RED. Daddy says I can go again, But not today to then or then, That's a long time it seems to me, Then I'll be too big to swing for free. Submitted By: NULL
