We were brought up Catholic and attended Church every week.
When I joined The Navy it became harder to attend Mass.Not all
Operational Exercises carried there God with them.IE A Priest or
Padre as The Military calls them.So eventually I fell by the way side.
Became more Spiritual.Lived a life of Caring,Sharing and being kind to
my Fellowman and Animals.
Hope this one don’t go Viral would not want a family member getting peeved off with me.

A Couple years back I was on a zoom call with a Couple of my Siblings and partner.
It was on a Good Friday.Now not one of us on the Call go to Church or are in anyway
connected to the Catholic Church.They asked what I had for Dinner(Supper).I replied Steak and Salad.
Well my Sister started on me first.Our Poor Father is Rolling in his Grave because you
had Steak on Good Friday.The rest were in agreement with Her.Father was always open minded.
Attended Sally Ann Services in St John’s when the War was on so he could learn a few good songs.
I know he would laugh as I did about this foolishness.
Now let me get this straight says I.Not one of you Guys practice the faith or contribute in anyway.But you are willing to hold on to some Old rules that forbid you from enjoying yourself.
Well Yes.You are one Special Lot.They did not get it.If you don’t support the Church anymore.You can get Divorced.Eat meat and Party until your little Heart’s Desire on Good Friday.
That Old Shame and Guilt is really ingrained.Might need an Exorcism to set them free.
